Abstract
Being a man or woman has a very significant impact on health which results in both biological and gender-related differences. Women’s health differs from that of men in many unique ways. Health is defined by the WHO (World Health Organisation) as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being with the absence of disease. Females are differentiated from men because of the presence of the Uterus. It is important not only to give birth but to maintain the healthy functioning of hormones. The uterus is a pear-shaped organ which plays a critical role in menstruation and fertility. It is a hollow muscular organ that sits between the rectum and bladder in the pelvis. It is responsible for the menstrual cycle. During the menstrual cycle, the lining of the uterus changes several times as it becomes thicker and rich in blood supply and when the egg gets fertilized and implants into the uterus the pregnancy begins. In this article, we are going to discuss the Uterus Care Pack which will be helpful in supporting the uterus, supports the overall health of females and is totally herbal and has effective results.

Ayurvedic Aspect
In Ayurveda, Menstrual blood is a updhatu (a byproduct of Rasa dhatu) and Rasa Dhatu (plasma) forms the blood tissue. This plasma is the vehicle for nourishment. The second layer is the Rakta dhatu which is a part of the menstrual flow and releases excessive Pitta doshas. Rasa and Rakta dhatu are the two which get vitiated by excessive Vata and Kapha doshas when they leave the gastrointestinal tract. Starting of menstruation means Rutu Chakra which is approximately 28-30 days. In the roots of Artava Vaha Srotas (channels form, transport and eliminate the menstrual blood. According to Sushruta, Garbhashaya is located in the 3rd avarta (circle of yoni). Apana Vata controls the whole reproductive system below the navel region. In women, if Apana Vayu is normal it balances normal menstruation and ovulation in an easy and proper way. The Age of Menarche is said to be at the age of 12 years and cessation of menstruation is at the age of 50 years. Acharya Kashyapa mentioned the menarche at the age of 16 years.
How Doshas Affect The Menstrual Cycle
Imbalances are caused by an excess of particular doshas and it is due to Prakriti or their Vikruti.
- Vata Doshas – In this the blood may be darker, more reddish brown and black. Its imbalances cause Anxiety, Difficulty in sleep and constipation.
- Pitta Doshas – It tends to have heavier bleeding and a feeling of heat. There will be an influx of blood and heat with nausea and diarrhoea. Causes irritation in the body and sometimes provokes swelling.
- Kapha Doshas – There will be excess water or bloating with a feeling of heaviness. Menstrual blood will be heavier and have more mucus. Blockages of the system and there is stronger blockage likely to go into a mode of overgrowth.
Most Specific Parts Of The Cycle
- Kapha Dominates the first half of the cycle (Rutukala) In this endometrium gets thickens and becomes more glandular. It culminates in the process of ovulation.
- Ovulation marks the next phase of Rutavateta kala which is mainly dominated by the Pitta doshas. The endometrium becomes more engorged with blood vessels and gets fertilized.
- The last phase is Rajahkala when the egg does not get fertilized. Sushruta described this process as a weeping cry of the vagina and there is a sudden rise in Vata doshas.
