Description Of Ingredients

1. Phool Priyangu (Callicarpa macrophylla) – It is a coolant herb which is bitter, astringent, sweet in taste and cold in nature. It has anti-inflammatory properties that helps to treat disorders such as diarrhea mixed blood (Ulcerative colitis), skin diseases, headache and various other diseases.
2. Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) – It is a very effective herb which is astringent, bitter in taste, cold in potency and balances Pitta and Kapha. It has anti-inflammatory, haemostatic, coagulant properties. It is really effective in bleeding disorders, acne, ulcers, skin disorders and various other conditions.
3. Sphatika Bhasma (Alum) – It has been used since ancient times, It is of two types Phataki which is yellow in colour, heavy in weight and anti-toxic and Phullika which is white in colour, light in weight. It is used in various conditions such as pneumonia, dry cough, wound healing, menorrhagia, leucoderma etc.
4. Vasapatra ext. (Adhatoda vasica) – It is a very powerful herb which is bitter, astringent in taste, cold in potency and helps to balance Pitta and Kapha dosha. It is very useful in respiratory infections, skin disorders, relief in pain, arthritis, asthma, chronic bronchitis and various other conditions. It also has the potency to detoxify the blood.
5. Lakh Pipal (Ficus religiosa) – It is a very effective herb which is astringent, sweet in taste, cold in potency and helps to reduce vitiated Kapha and Vata dosha. It is very helpful in relieving cough, skin diseases, improves skin complexion, diarrhea and various other disorders.
6. Nagkesar (Mesua ferrea) – It is an effective herb which is astringent, bitter in taste and hot in potency. It has anti-inflammatory, central nervous system depressant, immunostimulant properties. 7. Daruhaldi ext. (Berberis aristata) – It is a marvellous herb used in several formulations, it is bitter, astringent in taste and hot in potency. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties which is very helpful in wound healing, pain / inflammation, itching related conditions, skin disorders, throat infection and various other conditions.
8. Lakchha Ras (Laccifer lacca) – It is very beneficial and is reddish brown coloured resin which is astringent in taste and cold in potency.
