Abstract

Bhoomi Amla Swaras is a mixture of extracts of Bhoomi Amla Swaras and various permitted preservatives. Introduction

Bhoomi Amla is a tropical plant which grows at a height of 50-70 cm and is commonly known as Phyllanthus Niruri it is usually found in the rainy season and in the coastal areas, the bark of this plant is light green in colour and has smooth capsules forming seeds. The flowers of this plant are pale green in colour and are flushed with red colour and commonly known as Chanca Piedra, Gale of wind. 70.5 percent of the fruit in Bhoomi amla is made up of moisture, and 90.97 per cent of the fruit is fruit pulp. About 23.8 per cent of the juice is made up of soluble solids in total. 5.09 per cent of the total sugars are present in the fruit pulp. Per 100 ml of juice, there is 1094.53 mg of ascorbic acid. There are 0.59 per cent pectin and 2.73 per cent tannins in total.

The fruit pulp contains 0.75 % sugar Protein. It contains 0.004, 0.248, 0.059, 0.368, and 0.027 percent of iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus, respectively.
