Method Of Preparation Of Kamdev Ghrit

  • Boil the herbs: Take ingredients 1 to 13 234 gms each, crush them, and boil them in 48 litres of water.
  • Reduce the liquid: Keep boiling the mixture until only about a quarter of the liquid is left. Strain it through a cloth.
  • Add the base: Mix in 3 kg of Cow’s Ghee and 3 litres of Sugarcane Juice into the strained liquid.
  • Add the herb paste: Take 46 gms of fine herbs from no. 14 to 27, grind them into a paste with a little water, and add this to the pot.
  • Final cook: Boil everything together on low heat until all the water is gone and only the medicated ghee remains.
  • Store: Strain the finished ghee through a cloth and keep it in a glass bottle.
