Panchsakar Churna is an herbal formulation and is beneficial in many ways. Name of the churan depends on the five ingredients used in its formulation. The churan is made with combination of number of herbs and these herbs together works to balance and pacify the Vata and Kapha dosha. Saindhav lavan is one among 5 salts described by Ayurveda. It is also known as “Halite”, which is a mineral of Sodium chloride. It manages and balances the tridoshas pitta, kapha and vata. It is helpful in improving digestion strength, reduces and controls the acidity. The salt is also used to reduce the inflammation, stiffness and pain in the joints.
