This condition is known as “Amalpitta” in Ayurveda. It is a common disorder caused by aggravation of Pitta dosha and it is considered as the most common health ailment in the present era due to changing lifestyle. This aggravated Pitta thus causes excessive acidity in the stomach, burning sensation. There is colic pain when associated with Vata dosha.
