Description

Dermo Plan Syrup of Planet Ayurveda is a blend of powerful herbal ingredients that gives relief in various skin conditions such as acne, pimples, blemishes, sun burn, etc. as it purifies the blood and gives healthy and glowing skin from within. This syrup is manufactured according to the ancient Ayurvedic formulations.

The main cause of skin problems is the toxins in the blood. This syrup works internally by preventing the formation of Ama (mucus) which is considered as the main cause of impurities in the blood.

Meaning: In these shlokas, pathogenesis of skin disorders are explained. According to this shloka, the vitiated Vata, Pitta and Kapha further vitiate the skin, blood, muscles and interstitial fluids. All these 7 factors are responsible for skin disorders. These 7 vitiated factors cause 18 types of skin disorders. Any skin disorder is not caused due to the vitiation of one dosha only.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF SKIN DISORDERS ACCORDING TO AYURVEDA?

Meaning: In these shlokas, Master Charak has explained the symptoms of skin diseases. The symptoms are inability to sense touch, excessive sweating or no sweating, change in colour of the skin, urticaria, itching, prickling pain, tiredness, not proper working of the senses, wounds that cause excessive pain, frequent formation of wounds, wounds that do not heal quickly, burning sensation and numbness in organs – all these are the indications of skin disorders.

1. Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia)

Manjishtha is a famous Ayurvedic herb for skin diseases. It is a bitter-sweet cooling herb that has anti-bacterial effects and reduces the inflammation as well. This herb is also considered as the best Raktshodhak (blood purifier).

2. Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia)

As per Ayurveda, giloy is full of health and medicinal benefits. It is considered as anti-pyretic, blood purifier, bitter, carminative and an excellent immunomodulator. Giloy is helpful in curing all types of skin diseases, including prickly heat, sunburns, acute and chronic dermatitis, psoriasis etc.

3. Chopchini (Smilax china)

Chopchini is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of skin disorders. It works as an immunomodulator (reduces overactive immune cells), blood purifier, detoxifier and tonic that strengthens and balances overall body functions.

4. Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus)

Sariva is a well-known anti-inflammatory herb that acts as a skin tonic and blood purifier. It has anti-oxidant properties as well.

5. Neem (Azadirachta indica)

Neem is widely used for its antiseptic properties. This herb is one of the most important detoxicants in Ayurvedic medicine. 8. Khadir (Acacia catechu)

Khadir is considered as an immunomodulatory, blood purifier, astringent, styptic, anti-microbial, and hepatoprotective properties. It has digestive, coolant and astringent properties. This herb is widely used in skin afflictions such as skin allergies, boils etc.

9. Gorakhmundi (Sphaeranthus indicus)

Gorakhmundi herb acts a very good blood purifier and removes toxins from the body. Therefore, this herb is useful in a variety of chronic skin conditions.

10. Shahatara (Fumaria officinalis)

This is a wonderful herb for the treatment of liver and skin disorders. It can be used internally as well as externally. As an infusion, this herb is used externally for the treatment of scabies and eczema. This herb is also known for blood purifying properties.
