1. Shallaki (Boswellia serrata)

Shallaki is considered as the best drug to reduce inflammation along with that it has antiseptic and antiarthritic properties and also acts as analgesic and antioxidant. It increases brain function. It has Kashaya, Tikta, Madhur ras which helps in pacifying in pitta and kapha dosha. Decrease in pitta and Kapha dosha will help out in subsiding the symptoms of inflammation, decreases redness, burning sensation, pus formation.

2. Guggul (Commiphora mukul)

Guggul is a great herb in reducing pain and inflammation due to its anti inflammatory and analgesic property. It has antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti cancerous properties, Due to these properties, it works very well in arthritis and in rheumatism. It has Tikta and Katu rasa predominance and pacifies the three doshas that are Vata, Pitta, Kapha.
